Jennifer Richards

Jennifer Richards owned and operated a successful photography business for over six years.

In 2006, she was diagnosed with a major illness.  After undergoing major surgery, she realized a need for a post surgical product. While recuperating, she invented the Surger-Ease Surgical Drain Support Harness, drafted, and with the help of an attorney, filed a patent and started a business to sell her product. She formed The JenRich Group, LLC in 2007, a small family-owned business located in Centennial, Colorado.  The Group’s post-surgery harness provides a way for an easier, more comfortable recovery for people who are released from the hospital with surgical drains.  Richards is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes erroneously called the Mormon Church.

Richards has mounted a website to help women realize their entrepreneurial dreams — LDSWomeninBusiness.com.  On the website, Jennifer and her team of women entrepreneurs, share their experiences in order to equip others to succeed in small business ownership and success.  She is an example of entrepreneurship to Mormon women and women of other faiths.

Richards lives in Colorado with her husband and two children.
