Jane Walker

Jane started thirty years ago with a small boutique shop in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Her business has grown to include Walker’s Bridal Emporium, a retail, all-inclusive bridal and prom shop, and Eternity Bridal and Prom, which designs modest wedding dresses and prom dresses, and sells them to shops nationwide and internationally.  Eternity provides modest bridal, evening and sacred occasion dresses to over 500 stores worldwide.  Walker is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes erroneously called the Mormon Church.

Walkers’ Bridal Emporium was opened in 1984 in Provo, Utah, and then opened a store in Cedar City.  The Walker’s Bridal Emporiums offer affordable, modest bridal gowns, and also provide custom shoes, jewelry, tiaras, veils, invitations, accessories, and tuxedos.  In 1990, Walkers began designing their own line of dresses and having them manufactured exclusively for their retail stores. It was from this success in their retail stores that the Eternity line was born.

“Eternity Inc. has subsequently become the standard and leader in the modest formal wear industry. As the oldest and largest provider of modest formal wear Eternity Inc. maintains permanent showrooms in New York City, Atlanta, and Orem, Utah. It also participates in national and international bridal shows throughout the world, recently debuting at the Harrogate show just outside of London with its Spring 2009 Line.” [1]
